To benchmark FACIT's performance, I designed an evaluation framework that captures the value that FACIT provides to their portfolio companies. I conducted a literature review and interviewed FACIT’s portfolio companies to compile a list of relevant indicators that were included in the evaluation framework. Lastly, I provided recommendations about how FACIT should brand themselves and convey their value to oncology research.

The research was designed to provide policy recommendations to government officials which can increase Ontario's innovative capacity.The second project was conducted in collaboration with Ontario Digital Services and the aim was to understand how governments monetize their data. I conducted interviews with 8 government officials who worked across different departments within the provincial government. The research findings were used to determine the the value of open data and to make recommendations about the quality, accessibility, and scope of open data.Lastly, at the trade analytics department, I led a project that utilized the gravity model to determine which countries should be prioritized by Ontario for trade. To help the government of Moldova bridge the skills gap within their economy, I used mincer regression model and latent class analysis to assess the labour force. This entailed reviewing the surveys which were administered to households to ensure it captures relevant information as well as translating and cleaning the data sets before the analysis.

To determine whether the Indian government’s policies to meet their labour market goals, I compiled a list of indicators that will help benchmark their performance. I used publicly available data to assess female labour market participation and working conditions in India. The results were included in a publication to highlight government compliance to predefined goals.

Under the supervision of Professor Jayson Parker, at the Department of Biology, we analysed the impact of poor regulation on the production of medical devices. My role involved finding and summarizing 510K documents for medical devices that were approved without clinical trials. In addition, I created schematics, included in publication, and conducted interviews with F.D.A representatives to better understand how medical devices are approved.
