Sandy J. Sbarra is a Vice President & Senior Trainer with Scotwork (NA) Inc. located in Parsippany, New Jersey. He first joined Scotwork in March of 2001 just after the Scotwork North American operations began. He is part of a team responsible for developing customer base in North America. This includes locating and contracting with companies that are interested in Negotiation Skills Training. He is also responsible for delivering the actual training on three day skills-based training programs, and providing negotiation consultation as and when needed. Prior to Scotwork, Sandy had a 20 plus year career in the procurement field, 13 of which were spent with M&M Mars/ Masterfoods Corporation. During his tenure with Masterfoods, he managed a group of professionals responsible for purchasing a wide array of products and services.Sandy has spoken at several conferences and events for clients, professional organizations and business. Some of his theories and practices in the field of negotiation have been previously published in procurement and trade periodicals. Sandy co-developed a custom negotiation training program for Mars’ Commercial units and delivered core training to its field of associates. Sandy holds a BA and an MBA in Management from Baruch (CUNY). Originally from New York, he and his family spent 10 years in southern California, but relocated back east in 2009, where they reside in northern Virginia.
