Responsible for the RELX Group Supplier Corporate Responsibility (“SCR”) program, Supplier Diversity and Supplier/Supply Chain Risk. My responsibilities include:Developing and managing processes to ensure RELX Suppliers adhere to Our Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and operate in an open, honest, ethical and principled way.Building awareness of the SCR program throughout RELX Global Procurement and the wider RELX group through training sessions, workshops, conference call, etc.Working closely with other parts of Global Procurement to ensure that the SCR program operates effectively and delivers against all of its objectives.Working with RELX Audit & Risk Management to identify and manage supply chain (vs. supplier) risk; gain buy-in/support across all business units; develop & implement on-going reporting.Developing and executing a consistent approach for maintaining and promoting the use of diverse suppliers across RELX Group globally.

Responsible for developing and executing strategies, programs, and best practices to enhance the delivery of procurement services across RELX Group. Work closely with the Global Procurement Management Team, Colleagues and business stakeholders to design, develop, and implement initiatives to progress the procurement function supporting all RELX businesses and geographies.

Responsible for the development and delivery of global strategies tailored for key Marketing sub-categories across the Reed Elsevier divisions. Develops and implements effective cost savings initiatives, while working cooperatively with business stakeholders, finance, and regional procurement team members to drive business results. Manages Marketing sub-category procurement projects by using standardized procurement project implementation plans across RE business areas. Leverages eSourcing tools to enable sourcing strategies and deliver project savings. Leads supplier management program for assigned sub-categories, ensuring consistent vendor relations based on recognized purchasing compliance standards, best practices, and business ethics. Develops supplier scorecards and management reporting/dashboards. Manages contract administration and supplier relationships for services sub-categories.

Responsible for the smooth operational and tactical execution of creative and direct marketing department functions. Assisted marketing groups in the development of direct marketing campaign strategies. Provided campaign strategy recommendations based on ROI of previous campaigns, past list performance, and campaign test results. Reviewed creative campaigns to ensure creative execution matched marketing strategic objectives. Worked with marketing groups to implement material and measurable changes that that resulted in marketing process improvements. Led and mentored Design, Copywriting, and Direct Mail staff.
