I am a third-year public relations and English student at the University of Alabama College of Communications and Information Sciences. To invest in my future planning I sit as a Senator in the UA Student Government Association 28th Senate. As well as involvement in the Pre-Law Student Association. I plan to pursue an internship in Congress in the future. My strengths include public speaking and peer leadership. I use these skills to succeed in my student government position and my work as an Eta chapter officer of Alpha Delta Pi. My passion for legislative leadership and communication grew from my high school participation on the speech and debate team where I competed around my home state, Idaho. In my three years, I was able to win a state championship in Congressional Debate and two invitations to the National Speech and Debate Tournament to compete against my peers across the country. With my past and present studies, I bring experience working with a team, research analytics, Adobe certification, legislative planning, statute writing, and civil discourse.
