I am passionate about bringing together diverse expertise and perspectives to support the development of public sector services, supports, and systems in Aotearoa. I am at my best when working alongside people that are passionate and committed to a shared goal or outcome. Bringing together the expertise of the community, with our clients and the Synergia team is a real sweet spot for me. Together we work in partnership to inform the development of the health, social, education, disability, sport, and recreation sectors. Much of our mahi spans multiple sectors, as naturally people live in the real world were health, education, our social context, and wellbeing are deeply connected. I am an evaluator and researcher by trade with a passion for enhancing the influence, use and value of evaluation. Expert in applying evaluation theory within the pragmatic reality of the real world, I love using mixed methods to ensure that multiple perspectives and sources of evidence inform improvements and decision-making. Building evaluation capability is at the heart of much of my work. This could be through directly building evaluation skills or using technology to leave lasting access to evaluative information, such as dashboards and automated reporting systems. I am delighted to be the Managing Partner at Synergia Ltd. This role provides me with the opportunity to enhance my skills alongside a multidisciplinary team with cultural, systems thinking, data science, service design, and clinical expertise.
