Student Managers in this leadership position work in cooperation with Assistant Managers to supervise, mentor and train student employees, monitor attendance and performance, schedule student labor and oversee the meal service.

As a student coordinator my job is to help make things run smoothly during my shift. I help out the student managers in their tasks and I direct other student workers on what jobs need to get done during their shift. It is also my job to assign breaks for workers, keep track of attendance, while also communicating with the cooking staff and leadership teams.

While also making it my priority to take their vital signs accurately and in a timely manner, as well as listen to patients' concerns effectively and then communicate them to other parts of the healthcare team.

For instance, when asking a professor for a favor, we will use much more formal and polite language than we would if we were asking a friend. This project asks the question: how do children learn to use social information to adjust their speech?This study aims to answer the question by seeing how children as well as adults produce speech differentially depending on social categories they have knowledge of –in particular, native versus foreign individualsResearch Assistants help with the creation of the materials for the study, recruiting subjects, entering data, conducting the experiment and coding and analyzing data.

As a teacher assistant my main job was to help out around the classroom with whatever task that needed to be done. Preparing class material, cleaning, and helping out and playing with children were my daily task.
