• Led the creation of a comprehensive extreme heat resiliency toolbox with resources, guidance, template language, and 100 sample policies and actions to support and streamline local jurisdiction and agency resiliency planning• Reviewed General Plans and Climate Action Plans in agencies throughout Yolo County and evaluated how extreme heat and heat-related risk resiliency could be better incorporated into these plans• Researched local, state, and federal climate change mitigation and adaptation resources to support YRC goals• Presented the heat resiliency toolbox to 10 diverse audiences of elected officials, stakeholders, and the public• Engaged community stakeholders in the development of planning templates• Led planning for 2 organizational development meetings, co-led planning for monthly YRC meetings and a YRC stakeholder workshop; scheduled dates, identified locations, prepared materials, organized food• Managed 4 - 6 administrative, event planning, and long-term environmental projects simultaneously; created project timelines and deliverables, evaluated projects upon their completion, and adapted workflow to accommodate for new projects and priorities• Planned and organized region-wide volunteer days for 15 program Fellows as part of my cohort leadership role, and ensured equity principles and discussions were integrated into our volunteering
