Support the Head of Research by ensuring all research conducted at EVMC (Equine Veterinary Medical Centre) conform to Qatari law and Institutional regulations.- Develop, implement and monitor the document control procedures ensuring standardisation for EVMC.- Develop, implement and review policies and procedures related to IACUC (Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee), research review and research proposals.- Act as direct assistant to Head of Research and Education for all assigned research programs.- Act as the administration officer for the EVMC IACUC.- Act as the administration officer for the EVMC biosecurity committee.- Must work collaboratively with other EVMC departments to assist in the dissemination of compliance, and that it is understood.- Coordinator for the Monthly EVMC seminars which engage the wider equine community in an endeavour to improve veterinary care in Qatar.- Work in collaboration with HBKU (Hamad Bin Khalifa University) on the establishment of IACUC Laboratory and large animal research facility.- Ensure compliance of IBC (Institutional Biosafety Committee) EVMC laboratories in accordance with set regulations.
