Responsible for implementing and managing release processes for software changes through development, test and production environmentsWork collaboratively with Scrum teams, supporting DevOps engineers and Product Owners to meet their delivery plans through:* Identifying release scope and producing implementation plans - scheduling releases, managing risks, resolving issues around scope schedule and quality* Orchestrating and managing implementation teams across IT Department, other Op Co's and third parties in multiple locations across the UK, Europe and India* Handling the Change Management process* Identify release success criteria upfront, and ensure robust remediation or work-around plans are in place for every release* Support project teams in moving to automated deployments (via TFS) through setting up approvers on release pipelines, and engaging appropriate engineering teams to set security credentials in locked down environments, including production. Similarly supporting teams in their migration from TFS to VSTS.* Protecting production service by challenging non-compliant or high risk changes, scheduling appropriately to minimise risk, escalating serious risks to appropriate application owners for underwriting and approval.* Ensure Software Configuration Management and Test Signoff processes are adhered to• Introduced a Post Implementation Review process to capture release related issues; review with relevant stakeholders; identify actions and assign appropriate owners; follow up on open actions; instigate and/or facilitate process improvements.Influence positive change through establishing strong, empathetic, professional relationships, seeking collaborative approval of initiatives; dissemination of new or changed processes; championing change and continuous improvement.Awarded the “Clear Thinking Navigator” IT Department award in 2016 for successfully managing and de-risking a number of large, complex releases.

* Designed and built a tactical solution to import data from a partner company, and deliver it to business users via SAS. Engaged with relevant parties to enable IST, supported users through UAT. In Production since March 2012.* Designed, developed and maintained a number of data warehouse solutions to enable the business to undertake fact based decision making through efficient and accurate analysis and insight generation. * Acted as technical lead, representing BI team in project meetings, reporting on progress, risks, issues and achievements, ensuring relevant information was fed back to team.* Produced project deliverables at correct stage in project lifecycle and circulated, arranged approval and stored as per defined process.* Participated in CMMi interviews and assessment.* Provided SAS consultancy to business users, advising them on best practice and optimisation techniques, delivered formal SAS training courses to business users.
