In addition to Jitterbug Vipers, her ongoing work in Kaliyo with Andrea Perry continues to see great success world-wide with song placements in all platforms of media. Ms. Sharp has also been very involved in philanthropic work in Austin such as being part of the Groundwork Music Project, Capital Area Food Bank and others. Her involvement during South By Southwest with her Berklee College of Music Alumni and during the Austin Film Festival are part of her annual involvement in our great community as well. Her latest band is a joy to hear and has the venerable Mitch Watkins on guitar. As if this doesn't take up all of her time, she still occasionally offers voice instruction. As I stated initially, she is a stand-out musical talent in a city of IMMENSE talent but she exceeds even that as a music business professional and more importantly as an honest, genuine, person. I'm honored to know her and I can not even think of the Austin, Texas music scene without her name coming to mind with all the other greats here. As this is a recommendation, I'd be remiss not to say that you couldn't hire a better band for any function or seek advice about music performing or business from anyone more knowledgeable or willing to share that knowledge than Ms. Sharp.
