I helped on-board new clients. Unlike our full-serve customers, clients who use this product keep their billing in-house and use RevFlow as their end-to-end solution. My role is to analyze their workflow and needs and create custom training documents and a implementation plan to ensure their successful transition.

Initially my training role with BMS focused on training new CSR employees in our corporate office and doing remote training for our hub locations. In this position I authored several insurance appeal documents and a comprehensive training guide that is still used today. I then started assisting in virtual training new clients during their onboarding period. I then began creating training guides, customized work-flow documents, and training videos using Adobe Captivate 6. The majority of the training videos used in our training webinars and in our knowledge vault is material that I have created.

At first in the Customer Service department at BMS my primary responsibilities were to process and respond to denial/mail correspondence from insurance companies on behalf of our clients. I was also responsible for working AR reports and communicating with patients. After a short time I was moved into a lead position and in addition to these responsibilities I was also responsible for fielding inquiries from our clients and practice owners directly, managing work load and work schedules for my team and preparing and analyzing month end reports. After I graduated college in 2009 I started transitioning out of this position and started focusing on a new position in training and support.

When I was first hired at BMS I started as a data entry specialist. We would receive patient registration packets and charge slips from our clients and it was my responsibility to accurately enter the patient demographic charge information into our billing system. BMS has clients across the country and a data entry specialist I learned the different state billing rules, payer rules, CCI edits, and Medicare LCD requirements for billing. I spent six months in this position before I was promoted to customer service/accounts receivable representative.
