The Teach First Leadership Development Programme is a graduate scheme that aims to place the UK's top graduates into the most deprived schools in the country. Participants receive a PGCE in the first year and undertake an optional Master's degree in the second year. It is the most selective route into teaching and ranked 2nd by The Times annual Top 100 Graduate Employers list in 2014 and 2015. The aim of this programme is to tackle educational disadvantage and to provide schools in deprived areas with high quality teachers.The provision of training I received from Teach First and The University of Manchester was ranked by OfSTED as Outstanding in all areas in 2016.
