I am the Founder & CEO of Kapes, a UAE born company bringing sustainability to the global Education sector through sustainable school uniforms, impact reporting, a carbon offset fund, and experiential learning. Having started a sustainable bespoke menswear tailor in 2017, Benjamin Siggers, my desire to have a positive impact on a larger scale grew led me to start Kapes in 2021. Learning all I could about the impact that manufacturing clothing has on the earth and people on it, I decided to take my learnings into first developing sustainable school uniforms that could be used as a tool for positive change. Armed with the skills and knowledge acquired from Benjamin Siggers, and prior to this, while launching and managing an office for Tom James, the world’s largest custom clothing company, I am now able to further develop my passion for finding sustainable solutions and apply this to the field of Education through my work with Kapes. Through Kapes, I hope to play an integral role in empowering children to become global changemakers, using Kapes as a tool to educate children about sustainability, encouraging them to be more connected to the things they buy, those who make them, and the places they are made. As these children become adults, they will inevitably be more conscious consumers, educating the generations to come through setting an example.

This helps children stay in school, ultimately giving them a better chance to lift themselves out of poverty.And by teaching all Kapes kids about where their clothes come from, how they are made and how the people who make them are paid and treated, we hope to influence a new generation of conscious consumers into making better and more responsible buying decisions.
