I've been helping enterprises meet business goals through workforce strategies and operations for over three decades. My experiences include developing, implementing and optimizing talent governance frameworks, rewards programs, and operations improvements. My last role at Deloitte was Senior Advisor to the Deloitte Global Employer Services US practice where I provided counsel on complex matters, served on key client account teams, and counseled leaders and leadership track professionals.Over the course of my 35-year career in Public Accounting (Andersen, Deloitte), I contributed to a broad range of initiatives across geographies, industries and technical domains. I worked on rewards plans and HR policy in Financial Services in New York, London, Germany, Singapore and Japan; advanced best-shoring strategies, group hirings/relocations, and global staff reductions for Tech/Media clients all over the world; advised on impact to HR programs from disruptions including regulatory change, corporate transactions. disasters, and competitive forces; served as lead author/editor for CCH's first edition of Tax Planning for Expatriates in China; and advised on people development programs in the US and Asia. For over 15 years I have been privileged to serve as an Innovation leader in Deloitte Tax, campaigning for culture change and infrastructure development to support innovation in client work and internal operations. I led or participated in dozens of technology initiatives, and was directly involved in sponsorship, design, development and adoption of numerous program enhancements and transformations. For the past three years I have focused on the external human capital enablement ecosystem and contributed to alliance development for the benefit of the market and clients. I am dedicated to volunteerism and charitable giving, co-founded Deloitte's Silicon Valley Volunteer Council (2010) and am a long time Board member of Intersection, San Francisco's legacy community arts non-profit organization. I studied Mandarin and East Asian relations at the University of Pennsylvania, and received my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Texas San Antonio. I am a member of the AICPA and hold active CPA licenses in TX and CA.I continue to have a keen interest in the shifting dynamics of the global talent marketplace and in the evolving opportunities and challenges facing workers, enterprises, and regulators in the face of disruptive forces. I spend my time reading and wondering about the future of talent.
