Increased throughput rate to prevent data loss by buffering data between processing threads.* Developed a system for analysts to extract and re-format data from a set of files, using Visual C++ on a PC.* Wrote device controllers for recording real-time data to a raw disk and for transferring it from the raw disk to tape archive, allowing engineers to select data for further examination, using C on a SUN Solaris computer. * Wrote programs in Ada, C, and PV-WAVE, on a DEC VAX computer, to assist in extracting and analyzing data from previously recorded tapes. * Enhanced the controller of an aircraft missile warning unit and modified software to act as a bus monitor for the 1553 communications bus, using Visual C++ on a PC.o Developed a user interface for acceptance testing of the controller.o Modified the peripheral device interface of a C++ data recording program.

* Software maintenance for an Artificial Intelligence-based scheduling and planning system for scheduling satellite operations and a command management system for satellite control, using C on Sun SPARCstations and DEC VAX computers.* Software maintenance on a data acquisition system, using Assembly language and FORTRAN on a Gould 32/77 computer with MPX OS.* System analysis for a document tracking and scheduling system, producing a preliminary design document from a general requirements “wish list.”

Implemented sonar data analysis software using FORTRAN on IBM PC and Assembly Language on a SPS signal processor.
