I am 20 years old and have worked in retail for 4 years. In that time, I have worked in Next for a year and a half and was a person in charge in the store which meant I was in charge of the store some days and assisted the management team in coaching and leading staff, carrying out day to day work with the clothing and ensuring the business ran correctly and efficiently. I then left Next to join sainsburys as a GM and clothing manager. I started off in street store and am now moving to Worle store to do the same role in a bigger store. Before this I worked in a mixture of jobs which were all customer facing including a small store called nisa local as well as multiple hospitality jobs which allowed me to gain customer service experience and a wide skill set in retail.
