In the summer of 2012 I sold my successful insurance agency (which I had spent 16 years building) in order to move to France to pursue work as an English teacher. My career as an insurance agent had been incredibly rewarding, but ever since my 20's, I had dreamed about living and working in France. I ended up spending two unforgettable years teaching business English for a private language school in Toulouse, and teaching English to undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Mirail. Since returning to the States in 2014, I have been using the skills which I developed throughout my years as an insurance agent as the Outbound Customer Campaign Lead for the biotech company Abcam in Eugene, Oregon. I am currently interested in exploring new opportunities in which my sales, marketing, customer relationship building techniques, and project management skills will be a valued asset. As my former insurance clients' testimonials attest, my greatest strength has always been my ability to build trusting relationships. I would like to put this talent for connecting with new and existing clients to use for a company which would like to both solidify and grow its customer base.
