I am an IT Industry veteran with over 25 years’ experience providing exceptional solutions based on Microsoft products, platforms, and ecosystems. I thrive on disassembling complex scenarios/environments and on sharing my passion for technology and its potential uses; and architecting out innovative solutions to meet business needs and adhere to industry best practices. I have extensive experience leading technological change within organizations, and I am driven to be the catalyst and a source of knowledge and encouragement to those I partner with on delivering change. I am highly adaptive, as well as being extremely quick to absorb a client’s environments and interpret their needs. My early career focused on Active Directory and Collaboration applications primarily, and I have built a strong reputation for delivering for my clients with over 15 years’ experience across 2 countries architecting and implementing global solutions in this space. For the past 10+ years, I have focused on Cloud based technology and have proven success driving the architecture needed to move from traditional server based monolithic applications to cloud based serverless and microservice based architectures. I strive to always deliver solutions that are not only infinitely (theoretically) dynamically scalable, but also operationally viable – i.e. Containing costs of the platform usage and reducing operational complexities and requirements of the end solution through smart microservice based architecture, automation of the CI/CD pipelines, Agile based development, and a general implementation of DevOps best practices. Over the last decade, I have also spent many years working in the Gaming Industry, creating backend architectures for game platforms, and creating logging and analytics platforms built for massive throughput. A definite highlight was leading the platform team that created the full game architecture for Wizards of the Coasts’ title, Magic the Gathering: Arena. I love what I do and I’m always seeking a new challenge and opportunity for growth.
