Formed a start up EMS company with one ambulance and grew to 21 ambulances and 134 employees over the past 12 years. Servicing our primary city of Beaumont, we expanded to 2 other cities and counties, becoming the primary emergency provider for Jefferson county. We developed an internship program with Lamar University Institute of Technology which allowed students in their EMS program to do their clinicals in our 911 system. Responded to Natural disasters which included multiple Hurricanes (Katrina, Rita, Ike and many others), performing rescue and recovery and multi-state evacuations. Also worked on first out 911 emergency unit contributing over 60 hours a week for 12 years.-HIPAA compliance -Composed /Maintained/Implemented protocols/Trained all new employees in protocols -Quality Assurance-Medical Director's Designee-Ordered/Maintained all Controlled Substances-Ordered Equipment/Supplies-Disciplinary Actions -Training Exercises/intercompany and with various Volunteer and Professional Fire Departments and Refineries

American Medical ResponseParamedic Supervisor & Field Training Officer. Responsible for 20 employees duties which included treatment modalities as well as quality assurance pertaining to protocol implementation. Responded to all high risk incidents which included medical emergencies, traffic accidents, Petro-chemical explosions, and Helicopter Flight evacuations.

Physician Substitute. Assistant Director for plasma dialysis center. Responsible forcenter compliance with all Federal Drug Administration(FDA) regulations and maintaining Center's certification. Administer physical examinations to clients/patients prior to being accepted for blood donations. Interpreted laboratory reports and signed authorizations for donations per FDA regulations and compliance. Responsible for the long term health and overall patient status during blood donations. Handle any emergency health problems that occurred during patient visits.

Responded to all 911 calls to include medical emergencies, traffic accidents, and numerous helicopter flight evacuations.; Current Volunteer with La Belle Vol. Fire Dept.

EMT-Basic to EMT-Intermediate. Provided Backup 911 response for Galveston and Brazoria County area. Handled non emergency medical transfers during non emergency response periods. Assisted with continuing education classes and personnel certifications.
