As a desk attendant we were responsible for answering phone calls for the university main switchboard. I helped customers, students, visitors answer questions about the school, where buildings or services were and anything else had to do with the university and its surrounding area. I sold tickets for local attractions and events, as well as selling tickets for university events. Our desk rented out equipment that students and customer could use that included anything from athletic equipment to recreation equipment. Finally, we ran a bowling alley and a video game room.
