Test Engineering Specialist(Test Lead) in Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad. Responsible for end-end testing of the product and delivery with quality expected. As a Test Lead, performed all test related activities primarily being Test Estimation, Test Plan Preparation, Test Scheduling, Team Management, Test Data Management, Defect Management, Team Mentoring, Status reporting to Client/Offshore Management besides being the POC for the respective applications and full hands on as a tester. Instrumental in carrying out the QA tasks according to the requirement. Importantly, was responsible for driving the automation effort using CODED UI and QTP for the regression suite identified.For around a year, I also worked on Process Quality Assessment for a project wherein my role was to understand the process, identify the pain areas/challenges faced by the team, recommend suggestions on how process can be improved to have a positive impact on the effort and its quality.

Worked as a Senior Test Engineer and was mostly involved into DB Testing related projects. Was responsible for the overall quality evaluation and certify the product from QA perspective. Involved into all the test activities right from the scratch. Some of my top level responsibilities include: Interact with the client on the requirements and queries and sign off, design test cases, execute and status reporting, defect management and test closure. Worked on SQL Server and glad that I got an opportunity to write SQL queries in order to validate the data.Through AGS, I was identified to visit the client office in Philadelphia and get the application knowledge transitioned for one of the new projects that we bagged then.

Joined as a fresher and started my career as a Software Test Engineer. Was involved in understanding the process pertaining to testing and the phases and activities involved in SDLC as a junior resource. Later, was involved in designing test cases, execution, identifying defects and status reporting. It is during this time, I got an opportunity to use Informatica tool and also got good exposure/experience in writing SQL queries. Gained good experience and was identified to work as a Onsite Test Lead for one of the Microsoft projects in Redmond.
