I am a recent mechanical engineering graduate with a love for learning, hard work, problem solving, collaboration, leadership, teaching, and new challenges. In my undergrad, I gained a firm grasp of the fundamentals of mechanical engineering through courses like thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, mechanics of materials, computer aided engineering, manufacturing processes, and mechatronics. In these classes and others, I became proficient using CAD modeling software like SolidWorks and Autodesk Fusion 360 and meshing and simulation software like Hypermesh and Ansys. I also solved complex problems in various projects, labs, and other assignments by developing computation algorithms and math models using tools like MATLAB and Excel. I also played a key role on an award-winning senior capstone team where my teammates and I collaborated to solve a real-world structural design problem for a power transformer manufacturing company called Delta Star Inc. This experience included effective written and verbal communication, engineering design, finite element analysis, data post processing, scale prototyping, performance testing, verification and validation (V&V), and conforming to relevant industry standards.
