Seth Weinstein joined Vaisey Nicholson & Nearpass PLLC (formerly Tones Vaisey, PLLC) in June, 2015 as Counsel and Director of Title Operations and became a Partner with the firm in January, 2016. His practice covers many aspects of commercial real estate work from acquisition and finance to development and disposition. Seth’s experience includes the representation of local, regional and national clients in connection with complex sale-leaseback transactions, Section 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, loan defeasances, and “Brownfield” development. Seth is also proficient at residential transactions where he represents individual buyers and sellers as well as investment and portfolio clients. Seth is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and has appeared in numerous local and county courts on various eviction and housing court proceedings.Seth received the Charles Dautch Award for Excellence in Real Property Law from Buffalo Law School and was named as an “Up & Coming Attorney” by The Daily Record in 2013. Seth has presented continuing education seminars to attorney and industry groups on commercial and residential real estate topics.Prior to joining Vaisey Nicholson & Nearpass PLLC, Seth was an associate with the local law firm Woods Oviatt Gilman, LLP.
