I have proven track record in IT with over twenty years of experience across a vast array of enterprise hardware and software vectors. I am a self-starter who believes strongly in taking the initiative to identify potential issues and correct them before they impact the business. I excel at architecting and building solutions that address business needs, being mindful of the bottom line without negatively impacting the level of service provided to both internal and external customers.Since 2016, I have been primarily focused on AWS cloud services, becoming the SME for the company's Infrastructure and DevOps teams. My initial task with the company was to move our sister company to AWS. I performed an integral role in identifying the current systems, designing and implementing a "full datacenter" move from the on-premise data center into running fully in AWS within a year. Afterwards, I became the AWS SME for our parent company, creating a Datalake/Glue system for our Data Team, moving a division of our company fully into the cloud using ECS and CloudFront, and setting up shared services.In 2021, I moved to the Avantax DevOps team to assist with the formation of this team and evolve Avantax into a "Cloud-first" operation.
