I am a researcher, data analyst, and educator passionate about uncovering insights and solving complex problems through rigorous analysis and clear communication. I bring a unique blend of data analysis, mentoring, and storytelling to my work.For my doctoral dissertation, I had the extraordinary privilege to collaborate within an international team to study wild chimpanzee termite-fishing behavior. My research connected chimpanzee tool use, termite reproductive cycles, and long-term meteorological data together to test hypotheses and refine behavioral models of our ancient hominin ancestors.I am an adventurer at heart, having led kayaking tours in Monterey Bay, backpacking trips in remote locations, as well as having lived long-term in a remote Tanzanian forest. My passion for adventure drives me to continuously immerse myself into learning new skill sets ranging from Python programming to Brazilian jiu jitsu. As an avid learner, I possess an aptitude for self-reflection, enthusiasm for transparent feedback, and passion for collaborating with highly skilled people.I am likewise an enthusiastic educator who loves to share, and make accessible, my diverse interests and knowledge.
