Lead all personnel on site during shift regarding all aspects of the ethanol and co-product production in the plant. Coordinated team member activities to assure safety, production and quality standards are maintained at the highest level. Managed all employee activities including over time, vacation, training, coaching, problem solving, process trouble shooting and performance evaluations. Ensured that all production personnel are using the required personal protective equipment, following safety regulations and adhering to company policies. Prepared and distributed shift reports and conducted shift turnover meetings for the assigned shift. Completed any and all tasks assigned by the Plant Manager/Production Manager. Communicated directly with the maintenance department to coordinate maintenance projects and repair work in process areas. Operated distributed control system (DCS) program DeltaV for ethanol processing including: milling, cook, fermentation, distillation, evaporation, ring dryers, CIP, regenerative thermal oxidizer and decanter centrifuges. Collected samples and did all necessary tests to ensure consistent and quality product and record results.
