Maintenance Lead Vsu
Current-Oversee full engineering and asset care responsibilities on-site, ensuring compliance with all Safety, Food Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations and standards.-Demonstrate self-motivation and autonomy while adhering to legislative requirements and company policies, contributing as a vital member of the site and business management team through regular updates, formal meetings, and written reports.-Spearhead the development of the site’s engineering maintenance function by implementing cutting-edge maintenance and asset care practices, including TPM, RCA, CBM &life cycle costing.-Exercise significant flexibility and autonomy to ensure comprehensive site maintenance, asset availability, and operational reliability, meeting safety, quality, and production expectations.-Ensure compliance with the latest legislation and regulations for both personal and team.-Manage maintenance, asset care, and engineering teams effectively, prioritizing time management and adherence to health and safety protocols through direct reports.-Develop and execute maintenance & engineering strategy aligned with site & business objectives.-As a key member of the site management team, uphold a safe working environment and ensure legislative requirements are consistently met.-Maintain high business and customer GMP and quality standards within the engineering function.-Create and monitor KPIs related to engineering, legislation, maintenance, and asset care, delivered through proactive and responsive maintenance teams.-Build and sustain internal and external customer confidence in the site engineering team's ability to deliver excellent customer service.-Drive the site communication strategy, ensuring that site and business priorities are effectively communicated to the front-line team.-Take ownership of establishing and executing best practice maintenance and engineering standards, procedures, plans, budgets, and maintenance programs.
