I've been with Victoria Gold in the yukon since November of 2020. I have many years of fluid management and chemical handling; therefore found myself an operator role at the mine site Victoria Gold Corp. inside the absorption, description, recovery aka. (adr) plant. Here we monitor fluids, carbon, mix chemicals, and manage pumps on a day to day basis.Previously with my 15 years in the oil field drilling sector with Savanna Enegry it consisted of working long hours and weeks to month's at a time. I loved the work, but new I needed a change for my family at home. Therefore i decided to choose a more balanced lifestyle between work and home. With Savanna Energy, starting at the bottom, I quickly moved to a first line supervisor (driller) position. Within those 7 years in a supervisory positon, I learnt the importance of safety and proper training within a work space. My coworkers and mentors often commended me for the zero incidient record I held within my crews, along with the drive I had to teach employees how to do the jobs correctly.
