My practice focuses on representing clients in connection with government investigations, regulatory enforcement actions, and related civil litigation. My experience includes matters brought by federal and state regulatory agencies and state Attorneys General, as well as consumer class actions, multi-district litigation proceedings, and False Claims Act litigation. I have significant experience defending large corporations in consumer protection matters arising from cybersecurity incidents, including multi-state and joint federal and state investigations. I also have specific subject matter expertise with regard to controlled substance and pharmacy regulatory issues, and have represented hospital, retail pharmacy, and other healthcare clients in connection with investigations and enforcement actions brought by the Drug Enforcement Administration, state licensing boards, and state controlled substance authorities. My practice also includes providing proactive compliance program advice to help clients minimize the potential for such issues to arise. I am a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional and conduct compliance program reviews, advise clients on designing effective compliance programs, and assist clients with the development and improvement of policies, procedures, and training materials.

As an associate in the Atlanta office of King & Spalding, I litigated complex multi-party and class action cases in federal and state courts. In 2003, I moved to King & Spalding's Houston office, before returning to the Atlanta office in 2006. My experience included a broad range of matters, including products liability, environmental contamination, and large commercial disputes.
