The Working Cities Challenge Initiative is a collaborative effort to connect available resources to the residents and businesses of the Acre neighborhood of Lowell. The focus of the Initiative is improving economic development, education and inclusion for all residents and businesses. As Initiative Director, I oversee the general implementation and coordination of the Initiative. The Initiative is lead by Coalition for a Better Acre as the backbone organization and the City of Lowell and includes ACTION (Acre Coalition to Improve Our Neighborhood), Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association (CMAA), Career Center of Lowell, Community Teamwork Inc (CTI), Enterprise Bank, Greater Lowell Community Foundation, Jeanne D'arc Credit Union, Lowell Community Health Center, Lowell Housing Authority, Northern Middlesex Council of Governments, Middlesex Community College, and the University of Massachusetts Lowell

My role with ADT is to compile, write, and edit grant applications to foundation, state, and federal resources. I research grant-making organizations/agencies, and work closely with the Executive Director to develop grant funding priorities.

My primary responsibility is the design, development, implementation and overall management of workforce development projects servicing Greater Lowell job seekers and businesses. I also lead most aspects of the WIOA Youth program including the procurement process, vendor management, new vendor development, etc.In 2015, I led the development process of our new website working weekly with the vendor to develop the 'look and feel' for the site, transfer and develop content, create and develop features. I am also responsible for updating and maintaining the website. www.glwdb.org Some of my other responsibilities include:• Promoting/Connecting employers with public/private programs such as the Workforce Training Fund and other State, Federal and local initiatives• Assisting in the recruitment and promotion of membership to the Board• Assisting in the development and implementation of 2-year WDB strategic plan and other internal documents such as the By-Laws, MOAs, etc.• Reviewing and analyzing economic development, labor market, and population projections

My primary responsibility is the research, preparation and oversight of grant proposals to support and sustain the objectives of the Greater Lowell Workforce Investment Board.

Partnership for College Success (PCS) was a grant-funded collaboration between UMass-Lowell and Lowell High School. Developed the P.A.S.S (Peer Advising for Student Success) Network which is a mentoring program that focuses on retention among LHS alumni now attending UML.Assisted in development of You Too! TV which is a television show dedicated to explaining the ins and outs of college
