It's an arena of great adventure and exploration and requires drive, continuous learning (from many disciplines) and agility in order to prosper.As a leader, I seek first to serve. I picture my team as an inverted pyramid with me at the bottom. My greatest accomplishments are those that involve removing roadblocks, providing clear but not overbearing direction and helping the individuals and collective group of my team to shine. Freedom within framework is a primary organizing principle to my leadership and I not only value ideas that are different from my own, but am eager to hear and constantly be sharpened by others.In my opinion, the goal of a tester is to be a Quality Advocate. As advocates, we deliver two types of timely, appropriate and contextual information to stakeholders/decisions makers:1. Quality Information = information pertaining to the quality (definition according to Weinberg & Bach: 'value to some person who matters') of the process, documentation, feature, product... Emphasis of this information is generally present and past.2. Risk Information = information around anything that might constitute risk to the above quality... Emphasis of this information is generally present and future.
