I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from Montana Tech of the University of Montana in May of 2014. In addition to my degree I had the opportunity to work as an intern in multiple fields related to my field of study. As an intern for Copper Environmental Consulting in Anaconda, MT, I worked on various projects, including small coding jobs for data retrieval, reviewing contractor bid proposals, and lab analysis. I also worked for M.E.R.D.I. out of Butte, MT, where I sampled surface and ground water daily at the Warm Springs Ponds site. In addition to daily water quality monitoring, I also maintained the liming silos. I took daily samples and measurements at the Galen Wastewater Treatment Plant. I have passed the FE exam and applied for my EIT certificate. In a recent position with Continental Fence & Supply, I was responsible for taking preliminary measurements and drafting bid proposals for various projects across Southwest Montana. I also operated the CCM machine to fill custom orders and get the correct materials together for all of our projects. I worked closely with the owners, customers, contractors, and install crews to successfully guarantee quality and satisfaction for our clientele. Working for Continental Fence has not only given me the opportunity to use some of my engineering education, but also to improve my communication and customer service skills, which I found invaluable. This was then put to use in my current position with GameStop, where I service a large number of customers daily and take pride in ensuring each individual receives a quality experience. My work with GameStop was found to be more than satisfactory as I recently received a promotion while also working full time as a crew member at McDonald’s. I was able to perform my jobs superbly while working up to 80 hours a week for multiple weeks in a row.
