Global Hr Director
Current• Provide global, executive-level HR leadership to three SVPs within HPE’s Global Marketing and Communications organization. Responsible for all aspects of Human Resources impacting more than 1,000 Marketing and Communications employees in the Americas, EMEA, and APJ. • Define strategies with the SVPs and implement global HR initiatives programs accordingly. • Customize business-specific HR programs in areas including: organizational design, talent management/succession planning, learning and development, rewards and compliance. • Lead and coach managers and employees through HR related issues. • Play a critical role in transforming the organization post HPE/HPI split. • Manage workforce planning activities globally; work with local HR leads in their respective countries to drive workforce plans and location strategy goals. • Align performance management and reward systems to drive and reinforce desired behaviors • Ensure HR programs and plans are aligned to the business priorities and monitors effectiveness through the tracking of key measures.• Implement and track college hire program to “fix the mix” of our current workforce and increase number of entry level employees• Led program to move sales employees from software sales plans to traditional services sales plans including local country consultations and pay mix conversions• Analyze and make recommendations on Voice of the Workforce feedback including implementation of career development initiatives such as “hot jobs” to encourage promotions from within• Increased employee engagement index 6 points for the groups supported• Serve as HR representative on the Business Consultant and TCP Review Boards.• Facilitated over 30 Gallup Strengths Finders Sessions with employees and leaders which resulted in increased collaboration and team work.• Serve as coach and mentor to junior HR employees• Create and publish monthly HR newsletter for Marketing organization.
