I'm a gamer looking to work beyond the screen and create engaging and memorable experiences for others through video games. Over an approximate 5+ years of experience I've continued to adapt, learn, and grow in a variety of roles and disciplines in pursuit of this goal.My Past: At UC San Diego, I balanced studying programming with planning collegiate esports events alongside an equally passionate group of student gamers. - As a student of Computer Science, I studied: Artifical Intelligence, Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures, Cryptography, Computer Vision, and Image Processing.- As an officer of Triton Gaming and League of Tritons, my responsibilities included: Tournament Organization, Broadcast Management, Event Planning and Hosting, Recruiting, and Competitive Teams.- Additionally, my work in gaming extends to these roles as well: Color Caster (League of Legends), League Operations Admin, Community Coordinator(Dota 2), Brand Ambassador, League of Legends writer, and Stream Highlighter.In my most recent role I completed a 2 year contract with Facebook Gaming as a Quality Reviewer Lead. I oversaw the initiation, execution, and maintenance of gaming content labeling projects, leading data collection teams and working with product teams to moderate the platform's user generated content. During this role, I developed skills in: Managing Projects and Workflows, Coordinating Team Members, Working Cross-Functionally, Using Content Management Systems, Interacting with Relational Databases using SQL, and Working with Vendor Teams.My Present and Future:I'm currently looking for a long-term role in the gaming industry, hoping to consolidate all my various skills into either project/product management, game development, or production.
