Manufacturing Quality Engineer
Current- The setup and optimize lean manufacturing line by implementing continuous flow, SWIP, two-bin system, Andon system, supermarket system, TPM system, SMED, etc.- Improve line efficiency to increase UPH by introducing automation system such as robot soldering system, selective wave soldering system, RTV auto dispensing system, camera inspection system, auto screwing system, etc.- Lead PRR (problem resolution report) team to resolve manufacturing related issues from RAM return, from production line and from Tier 2/3 suppliers with focus on preventive actions.- Lead continuous improvement project at contract manufacturer, such as production test line upgrade, conformal coating process improvement, RTV primer process, etc.- Act as liaison between contract manufacturer, tier 2/3 suppliers, design engineering, quality engineering and program management for NPI build and sustaining projects. • Conduct DFM/DFT/DFA study and feedback on NPI projects, such as EZ350 charging system, stackable charging system, etc. • Initiate process flow diagram, PFMEA, work instruction, control plan, product test plan on NPI projects, such as EZ350 charging system, external interlock cable, etc. • Conduct failure analysis on sustaining projects, such as MOSFET function failures, MOSFET misalignment issue, Schottky diode PFCVsense failures, etc.- Review, consolidate and present the following activities in the CFT meeting, • Schedule attainment, OTD, PPOH, FPY, RTY, DPPM and Scrap Rate • SREA status (Supplier Request for Engineering Assistance) • PRR status (CAPA actions)
