Datahub – Build and Deployment Evolution team • Worked in a team of 6 Senior Developers/Site Reliability Engineers to re-think/re-work the way software is developed, built and deployed for services in the Pason Datahub to improve developer velocity and experience, create consistency between environments and leverage the cloud.• Lead the initiative to migrate EC2 based services using debian packages + puppet for configuration management to using docker containers with immutable configuration in AWS ECS. Migrated some core backend services to containers and added auto-scaling to the system that was a manual process before.• Worked in the initiative to migrate services, libraries and plugins from Jenkins to Gitlab pipelines, wrote base gitlab pipelines and built base docker container images for use in the pipelines.• Implemented a container pipeline in gitlab that integrates deployments to AWS ECS (Fargate) in the pipeline for better visibility and control of how software is deployed.• Worked on a “shift-left” solution to build a local docker-compose environment to run functional tests on commit in a pipeline and also to provide a local environment for developers to run a web service against when developing code.• Designed and implemented a new smoke test framework for a new suite of Rest Assured tests written by the test automation team using docker containers and gitlab pipelines.• Designed and implemented building pre-built mysql containers with test data to be used in docker-compose environments and AWS development environments.• Jumped to work on complex problems with the legacy application when performance issues happened to alleviate load in the system. • Acted as a consultant for the different teams in the Datahub for feature requests and requirements gathering to leverage extensive knowledge gained throughout the years at the company.• Mentored and coached junior and intermediate team members outside the team

RigSite Applications Team• Worked in a team of 8 to develop a replacement for a legacy reporting application with a modern and robust .NET (C#) solution used for generating daily operational reports at the rig site by customers on ~1500 rigs to be sent to the Datahub.• Developed new features on the Datahub web application front end and backend to support the addition of new reports in the Reporting solution.• Provided Tier3 support for issues encountered in the field by customers with the reporting application on both the client and server side.• Managed software releases for the reporting application in a fleet of ~1500rigs• Worked with a team of 5 developers to write an ETL Service to process report data sent by customers on a daily basis to build a datamart db to allow customers to retrieve their report data using a SQL interface.• Worked with a team of 5 developers to integrate a Business Intelligence tool (Tableau) into our python web application to allow our customers to visualize their report data to provide actionable insights.
