At HubSpot, Sarah Jane developed and lead community-driven programs to facilitate increased developer trust, loyalty and advocacy. She identified developer community gaps and nurtured the creation and growth of connective tissue between HubSpot’s developer community channels
. Examples include the launch of the HubSpot Developer Blog, HubSpot’s virtual developer event series, and an internal newsletter designed to rally internal awareness of developers at HubSpot, as well as co-leading HubSpot’s Developer NPS program, developing and reporting on C-level developer engagement metrics.

Shopify's Platform Community team exists to attract and welcome quality developers to a world class and inclusive developer community, so they can create the best apps for our 500,000+ merchants. We do this by going where developers are - conferences, meetups, blogs and forums - to inspire them to learn more about Shopify’s platform opportunity. We also create and nurture online and offline spaces for our developers to connect and support each other. Our goal is to tap into the world’s 20 million+ software developers and educate them on how Shopify apps are an opportunity to build software for a product with a growing merchant base and 100 year+ future.developers.shopify.com

Developed and implemented an offline and online engagement strategy designed to gather, educate, engage, diversify and inspire the Keen IO community across both developer and non-developer lines, with a guiding principle of solving real-world analytics problems and creating opportunities to tell stories and share knowledge.

Built, managed and supported Mashery’s/Intel Mashery’s (hereby referred to as Mashery) network of 342,000+ API developers and 99,000+ active applications leveraging Mashery APIs. Served as advocate for Mashery API prospects, existing Mashery API customers, Intel Technologies and the developers using them. Communicated new APIs and Intel technologies and event presence to developers via newsletter, developer blog, developer events calendars on Lanyrd, dev.mashery.com and software.intel.com. Set Developer Evangelists up to succeed with clear messaging when working with developers one on one at the 70+ hackathons and developer events attended by the Developer Platform Services team in a typical year. Sponsored, helped organized or planned 200+ hackathons and developer events since joining Mashery in 2012.

Spread the gospel of Context.IO far and wide. Supported, advocated for and fostered the Context.IO developer community. Wore product management, technical writing, marketing and website development hats, all at the same time.

Developed and managed custom-built, all-in-one online marketing solutions for a handful of clients, advising them on the best strategies in the fields of SEO, SEM, social media, online PR, display, web design and development, and more.

Developed and nurtured all product, communication and marketing initiatives for 4Q (http://www.4Qsurvey.com) and collaborated with colleagues to provide strategic guidance and support throughout the lifecycle of all of iPerceptions' marketing, PR and branding activities. Responsible for all communications and marketing strategy for 4Q, iPerceptions' free and simple Voice of Customer Analytics tool. Supported the needs of the 4Q Survey community by advocating for webmasters using the survey and the developers integrating it, and gathering product input and representing the 4Q brand on social media platforms and blogs.

Development and implementation of content, PR, marketing and advertising strategy for GigaSize.com, Pixilis.com, and StudioCodency.com.

Development of recruiting objectives, identification and recruitment of websites to join affiliate networks (Income Access and Share Results). Drafting and editing of professional copy for communications. Proactive daily email and telephone contact with clients. Analysis and optimization of daily client operations and relationships. Representation of Income Access at industry conferences such as the Casino Affiliate Convention in Amsterdam, Netherlands in April of 2006.
