I was selected as 1 of 8 student teachers in the entire College of Education at Winthrop University and the only PE major selected to take part in the Asprire Certificate program. This is where a student teacher comes in and takes over a teacher’s class if they are pulled out of the classroom for other duties or if schools are short staffed.

I work each summer at R. Joe Harris as a Rodman and instrument man on the survey crews.
