Intern Developer at the Center for Applied Coastal Research.I built scalable GUI for Boussinesq wave model FUNWAVE-TVD, simplifying a 100+ parameter model configuration with input and model validation features.I also lead environment documentation and configuration support at the 2023 FUNWAVE-TVD workshop at Northeastern University.

Intern on the Analysis of Coastal Wave Impacts and Shoreline Protection Structures project.I developed essential command-line tools and open-source Python scripts with established researchers involved in analyzing coastal breakwater structures --- key structures that prevent catastrophic floods and damage from events such as tsunamis.Projects include:- smart figure/animation tool for output data- rubble-mound breakwater structure insertion script- non-trivial calculation script of wave reflection rate- in-line tool for wavenumber calculation
