Current- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with 32 years of experience in the health, safety, environmental remediation, construction, and training fields.- Currently leads all HSE functions for the Federal and Environmental Solutions Performance Unit at Jacobs.- Broad technical experience in the areas of hazardous waste operations; construction; exposure determination, evaluation and control; subcontractor qualification and oversight; and health and safety training curriculum and presentation. • In her role as the HSE Lead for the Jacobs Federal and Environmental Solutions (F&ES) group within the People and Places Solutions Line of Business (LoB) at Jacobs, Ms. DeWitt provides general HSE leadership and guidance to more than 3,500 F&ES employees in the US and Canada. She provides overall leadership and direction to nearly 20 HSE professionals globally who serve clients including DOE, DoD, and US Civilian Agencies as well as commercial sector clients including Honeywell, Coastal Gas Link, Enbridge, Dow, Union Pacific Railroad, DuPont, Freeport McMoRan, BP, Shell, BASF, and others. • Ms. DeWitt is responsible for aiding in the development and implementation of Jacobs-wide, LoB-wide, and F&ES-wide HSE programs, initiatives, and key performance indicators and metrics. In addition to overall HSE program implementation and overseeing HSE staff, Ms. DeWitt also provides direct HSE support to several projects in both the Government and Private Sectors. • Projects that Ms. DeWitt supports include hazardous waste site cleanup, disaster site response, unexploded ordnance projects, construction work, water and wastewater treatment facility operation and maintenance, biological research laboratories, and numerous miscellaneous environmental survey, investigation and clean-up projects.
