As a graduate student, responsibilities included conducting individual research or contributing towards collaborative research projects, maintaining instrumental equipment, presenting research advancements in weekly progress meetings, presenting research summaries at professional conferences, adhering to the rules and regulations of EHS, and managing lab funds as the purchasing officer for the Rosenthal Research lab. My research project was based developing renewable energy storage devices via the electrocatalytic reduction of CO2 to CO.

I was responsible for instructing biweekly laboratories, holding review sessions and regular office hours, and grading examinations. Instruction was towards freshmen undergraduates with an anticipated degree in chemistry.

As an undergraduate research assistant, responsibilities included performing individual or collaborative research, presenting recent research at professional conferences, and maintaining instrumentation. My research responsibilities included synthesizing and metallating organic based ligands of various chain lengths to build ruthenium tris- bipyridine oligomer frameworks as host system sensors for the binding of alkali and alkaline earth metal guests.

Held weekly review sessions for Genaral Chemistry Classes, (CHM111, CHM112). Assisted in the sophomore level Inorganic laboratory. Guided students through weekly laboratories which catered to different learning styles and laboratory skill sets using activities such as; lectures, worksheets, and group work to aid in retention of coursework.
