Managed both union and non-union work forces, which assured compliance with existing collective bargaining agreements (labor contract) and fostered teamwork. Directed the $18M air traffic system training and transition upgrade project which resulted in the smooth operations transfer of air traffic control services to the state-of-the-art facility and utilized the latest technology to ensure efficient and effective training and operations. Guided the overhaul of the operations scheduling process which maximized efficiency for over 21,000 flying hours per year. By utilizing Continuous process improvement methodologies, improvements saved the Air Force $14.2M per year and was recognized with the AF Productivity Excellence Award.
