Championed timely and accurate responses to formal Congressional letters and ensured consistent messaging. Energized the Commander's Capitol Hill Visit Program which brought over 200 leaders from across the Air Force to interact with Congressional delegations. Established the comprehensive directorate weekly summary which captured the effectiveness of the directorate and facilitated vital program coordination across numerous Air Force commands and headquarters elements. Oversaw the Air Force's response to the Presidential Budget roll-out by utilizing collaborative information tools to streamline and track the formal response process to members of Congress and the media.

Synchronized the operations and training of 1,300 civilian and military personnel from 6 diverse organizations for mission success across the 7,800-person defense installation. Lead project manager for the KC-46A strategic basing process and planned $60M in construction projects with the focus of mission sustainment (operations, maintenance and training facilities) for up to 50 years. Base was selected as the formal training location for the next generation air-to-air refueling capability. Managed and maintained a $1.8B/8,000 acre installation facility complex supporting military aircraft valued at $6.7B. Oversaw logistics operations (aircraft parts, fuel, and consumable products) worth over $400M per year, fielded integrated security teams, guided contract development and award (for both products and services), managed communications operations and upgraded infrastructure, ensured emergency services readiness and chaired the Base Environmental Oversight Board. Efforts directly resulted in the base being recognized as #1 of 166 Air Force facilities with the award of the Commander-in-Chief Trophy.

Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma

Led a diverse 168-person organization in the execution of a $404M per year flying operation to safely train over 2000 US and international students per year. Directed the execution of $45M in construction projects to update aging airfield infrastructure, which never hindered flight operations and preserved student training timelines. Oversaw the efficient daily operations of a 960-acre airfield complex, which was the 13th busiest in the entire Dept of Defense. Airfield operations consisted of air traffic control (both Control Tower and Radar Approach Control), aircrew flight equipment maintenance and training, weather forecasting services, mission scheduling and airdrop equipment inspection. Managed both union and non-union work forces, which assured compliance with existing collective bargaining agreements (labor contract) and fostered teamwork. Directed the $18M air traffic system training and transition upgrade project which resulted in the smooth operations transfer of air traffic control services to the state-of-the-art facility and utilized the latest technology to ensure efficient and effective training and operations. Guided the overhaul of the operations scheduling process which maximized efficiency for over 21,000 flying hours per year. By utilizing Continuous process improvement methodologies, improvements saved the Air Force $14.2M per year and was recognized with the AF Productivity Excellence Award.

7Th Weather Squadron, Heidelberg, Germany

Guided comprehensive weather support to 15 installations, 10 airfields, and 350 aircraft spread across Germany and Italy. Ensured combat and deployment readiness of 75 personnel to a variety of austere worldwide locations through in-depth training programs. Directed environmental injects to exercise scenarios to facilitate headquarters Task Force certification. Synchronized operations of 62 personnel at 15 geographically separated units while deployed in combat. Integrated maintenance team into deployed unit which improved remote weather sensor mission capability rate by 95% in wartime conditions.
