Currently hold the grade of Major. Second in command on the staff of my squadron which makes me fully responsible for decisions with my squadron of 40+ personnel. Responsible for the development, upkeep, and monthly operations of the Westover Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol. Handles staff issues with job performance, grievous, and appointments/ dismissal of personnel from duty positions. Computer work is a must for this assignment because everything is tracked via an online computer application and internal systems within the base. Work alongside the U.S Air Force Reserve to support base operations at Westover ARB. Have worked multiple field exercises including, but not limited too: unarmed security patrols at the Boston Marathon starting point in Hopkington, Ma., Minuteman National Park at Lexington/ Concord Ma., and the St. Patrick's Day Road Race in Holyoke Ma. Has worked with numerous Law Enforcement Agencies including: MA. State Police, Middlesex County Sheriff's Dept., and the National Park Service Rangers. Achievements of completion with 4 USAF and CAP Operational or Leadership Courses. Ongoing professional training includes courses in problem-solving, leadership, management/ command, quality, and presentation skills. Several Commander's Commendations for outstanding duty performance.

Provides over all security for patients, visitors, and employees at Baystate Medical Center and Springfield area satellites offices. Responses to emergencies including but not limited to: verbal and physical assaults; Combative patients and/or visitors; Fire and help alarms; Motor vehicle accidents, break in's, or motorist aid. Answer's call for service throughout the hospital and satellite offices. Dispatches officers or patrol units to incidents when needed. Controls the flow and access of visitors to the patient treatment area's. Utilizes numerous computer applications to complete necessary tasks on a daily basis. Operation of radios with police-style dispatch calling/answering. Conducts report writing to track and document incidents.

Repaired Panasonic Brand Point-and-Shoot Camera's, Panasonic DVD Video, and Hard Disk Drive Video Cameras units. Additional experience with the Samsung Brand of Point-in-Shoot Camera's. While at PCVR responsible for using multiple computer programs and systems to test camera functions, track the unit in house, and order OEM replacement parts. Served as Lead Tech under the group supervisor for my department; responsible for special assignments and top priority units. Worked as primary trainer for my department, when needed.
