-Assist in the management of the Decatur Indoor Sports Center located on the campus of Millikin University.-Recruitment and training of new staff.-Coordinate and supervise roughly 20 staff including part-time supervisors, maintenance staff, and front desk staff.-Oversee youth sports camps, youth track & field programs, & various afterschool/weekend day camps.-Assist and support the marketing of the Sports Center to current and potential users.-Perform budgeting and assist in the financial operations of the Sports Center.-Work with RecTrac to enter facility reservations, produce roster reports, and create invoices at the Decatur Indoor Sports Center.-Assure proper risk management practices are used on a daily basis.-Coordinate the planning, programming, and implementation of special events at the Sports Center.-Ensure compliance with health, safety and other policies required by the Decatur Park District.-Maintain high standards of customer service for all staff at the Decatur Indoor Sports Center.-Deal with inquiries, complaints, and emergencies as they arise.-Assist in the monitoring of maintenance equipment and provide maintenance to the indoor facility as needed.-Completion of various reports including accident reports, maintenance reports, inventory, and staff progress reports.-Professor of the Recreation Practicum course through Millikin University.
