Richmond, Virginia Area

• Served as the systems integrator for the modernization and upgrade of the facility network and building automation system at the Salt Lake City Federal Courthouse. The BAS was upgraded from Tridium Niagara’s legacy R2 platform to a newer Ax system.• Designed and developed the sequence of operation, graphical user interface and control programming algorithms to operate a fully automated shade and lighting control system for commercial facilities using the Tridium Niagara application.• Conducted commissioning of the 800,000 square foot District Center located in Washington, DC, which included intensive functional testing and analyses of a new mechanical, lighting and supervisory control system.• Served as the system integrator for various United States Federal Courthouse BAS upgrade projects which involve migrating legacy R2 platforms to Tridium’s latest N4 software. Exp developed custom web-based user interfaces and programming for the BAS and exposed the facility on the Region 4 N4 server.• Provided engineering and specification services for the development and composition of SMART Building Design and Workplace Standards for HSBC’s global portfolio of facilities, which specified new cutting-edge technology and integration requirements associated with all future construction and renovation projects. • Provided systems integration services for an ongoing modernization and upgrade of the building automation system at the Dirksen Federal Courthouse. The BAS was upgraded from an older version of Tridum Niagara’s Ax platform to the latest software release.• Served as the junior engineer and specification writer for the development of SMART Building Design Standard for the District Center located at 555 12th Street NW in Washington, DC.• Served as the junior engineer and specification writer for the development of Division 25 – Integrated Automation Master Specificaiton for the United Technologies Corporation family of integrated products.

• Project managed five metering jobs with a combined $75,000 in total project fees, while either exceeding or meeting the company’s direct labor multiplier and project labor estimations.• Served as the project manager/engineer for the retro-commissioning and energy auditing of the SunTrust Operations Center in Richmond, which included developing on-site evaluations of systems, control data collection, and the compilation of audit and retro-commissioning reports.• Supervised and documented the construction progress on 10 United States Postal Service (USPS) installations throughout Virginia as the official A/E of record.• Compiled data, and subsequently composed energy reports and design plans/drawings outlining energy conservation measures and other solutions by which facilities and public/private entities can improve its operational efficiency, and reduce overhead expenses.• Developed detailed financial analyses for various energy projects, which included estimating net present value, return on investment and simple payback for selected solutions. • Conducted retro-commissioning services of 87 buildings totaling 2.1 million square feet at Fort Bragg, NC, which included conducting site investigation and system evaluations, metering, functional testing, commissioning, and intensive measurement & verification. • Performed energy audits, retro-commissioning services, commissioning services and metering investigations for hundreds of Class A and B commercial buildings, including the Comcast Center in Philadelphia, PA, as well as various other private commercial buildings from Puerto Rico to Minnesota.
