Based in Nottingham we are ideally situated to serve the length and breadth of the UK and are currently appointed on schemes from Plymouth to Edinburgh.Our services include all aspects of structural and civil engineering design and the commissioning of environmental engineering requirements such as Site Investigations, Flood Risk Assessments and Traffic and Transportation reporting.With over 20 years of industry experience, Stephen’s portfolio of work encompasses projects in a variety of sectors including education, retail, commercial, leisure and high-end residential. Steve started his career working as a technician for HSP Consulting in 1995 whilst studying for his Civil Engineering degree part-time at Nottingham Trent University. During the 6 years employment, Steve worked as a technician and drainage engineer before becoming a design engineer in the structures division, graduating with Honours in 2000.He began working with BSP Consulting as a graduate engineer and eventually attained the level of a team leader responsible for several graduates and technicians within the 4 years of employment. Steve left BSP Consulting to join Ward Cole as an Associate Director jointly responsible for managing an office of 7 employees.Whilst at BSP Consulting and Ward Cole Steve was involved in a variety of schemes ranging from £100k to £10million and involved a mixture of new build and refurbishment in the residential, commercial, retail, industrial, leisure and education sectors.He joined Elliott Wood Partnership in January 2008 as a Senior Engineer to help Peter Smith in running the Nottingham Office. His extensive local contacts and knowledge of the east midlands market place has helped to strengthen Elliott Wood Partnership’s position in Nottingham.Steve was promoted to Associate level at Elliott Wood in May 2010.

Responsible for projects within the residential, commercial, industrial, retail and education sectors ranging from £250,000 to £7 million in value. During the latter stages of my employment with bsp, I was responsible for a small team of graduate engineers and structural technicians.
