• Creates innovative product designs that reflect the organizations vision and strategies with direction given from design and product management. Provides design services for the product team as needed through tools, systems, and communication from tech packs to cads for cross functional team requirements. Creates concept boards with inspirational images that support ideation. Maintains a strong consumer-oriented point of view in design concepts and delivery.• Creates and provides prototype sampling information including fabrication, trim, color, graphic applications, style, detail, fit requirements, construction detail captured in technical spec packages. Monitors the development of prototype samples and works closely with the product development team to ensure timely completion of each project. Ensures product details such as construction detail, fit, color, form, style, graphic application, logo treatment, and trim are according to brand specifications and requirements.• Conducts research and stays abreast on seasonal trends, themes, colors, and raw materials. Travels to trade shows, global retail markets, and liaison offices to discover, source, learn about, replenish, and develop trend information, materials, and new technologies that inspire our customer. Researches and embraces market trends, consumer insights, and market data to inform new opportunities.• Designs for fast-track processes that allow the brand to execute quickly against timeline requests.• Communicates technical spec packages that provide clear development direction to manufacturing partners. Ensures technical spec packages provided to manufacturing partners are correct.• Works with Product Director, development team, and Senior Designer to ensure designs feasibly meet market and profitability goals.• Produces presentation materials in conjunction with Product team that effectively communicate the concept behind the line/designs to key stakeholders of internal and external audiences.
