About Stephen L.
From Bible College in Pennsylvania to Seminary in California to pastoral ministry in Missouri, and again back in California, I have followed the leading of my Lord into a life of ministry. I find great joy in teaching the Bible and enjoy studying theology and history of all kinds. Whether in the pulpit of a local church or in at the podium of a substance abuse rehab center, I find myself most alive when preaching and teaching God's word so that others might know the gospel and grow in their knowledge of, and relationship with, the Lord Jesus. I grew up in southeast Pennsylvania and completed my bachelor's degree at Lancaster Bible College. Before and during that time I worked in the photonics industry as a thin-film coating technician and fabricator at Evaporated Coatings, Inc.I then moved to southern California to earn my Master of Divinity degree at the best seminary in the world, The Master's Seminary. During my education there I worked as a campus security guard at The Master's University and then as an administrative assistant at Grace Community Church. It was here that I met my wife and started a family.Following seminary I took a position in St. Louis as Minister to Children and Families, where I led the way in building up a ministry focused on three priorities (evangelizing children, equipping Parents, and edifying servants). A growing desire to shift the focus of my own ministry pursuit and personal needs in my family prompted us to move back to Los Angeles.Now we’re in Navarre, FL, where I am getting established in pool care services with my brother’s company and looking forward to future ministry from a lay position.
