Director and Founder at Player Ready | Pioneering VR Gaming, Coding Clubs, and Alternative EducationI am the Director and founder of Player Ready, leading a dedicated team of 20 with my wife across five locations in Cornwall, Plymouth, Exeter, Taunton, and Hampshire.Player Ready operates in three distinct modes:Virtual Reality Gaming: Offering immersive VR experiences during after-school hours, holidays, and weekends, we provide an exciting escape into the world of virtual reality.Coding Clubs: Our Coding & Minecraft Clubs are designed for children and young people to learn digital skills in a safe environment. We host these clubs after school, during weekends, and holidays, fostering creativity and technical proficiency.Alternative Provision "Level-Up": We offer comprehensive venue-based alternative educational provision services, as well as 1:1 online support. Our programs are tailored to help children and young people with unique educational needs.Supporting Neurodivergent IndividualsAfter being diagnosed with ADHD, I am passionate about helping others who are neurodivergent thrive. Through our work in Clubs and Alternative Provision, we support many children with ADHD, ADD, PDA, Autism, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.At Player Ready, we are committed to creating inclusive and supportive environments where every child can succeed. Alternative Provision offers specialised support in emotional well-being, mental health, and SEN, leveraging the engaging world of technology. Our sessions allow us to connect with students in a relatable, mentor-like manner, fostering trust and rapport, which we feel is crucial for effective support. We understand that sometimes, our children and young people really struggle with mainstream school and would benefit more from an alternative, flexible, fun and safe environment.
