With over 30 years of experience in public education, Steven Kellner is a passionate and visionary leader who strives to improve learning and outcomes for every student. He holds an Ed.D in Educational Administration and Supervision from Loyola University Chicago, and has multiple certifications as a superintendent and administrator in Illinois and California.As the Director of District Leadership and State Policy, he works directly with superintendents to provide coaching, support, and coherence for their districts. At the state level he advocates on behalf students and educators when consulting with the legislature, executive branch and association representatives. He leverages his expertise in instructional technology, design thinking, and STEM education to introduce districts to a suite of tools, processes, and structures that enable collaborative and data-driven improvement. He is also an accomplished author, presenter and researcher, with publications in the fields of superintendent leadership, alternative high schools, and teacher mentoring.
